Subscription terms

Who we are. Best Effort is published by Athena Networks. Contact us via athenanetworks.com.au.

What you get. Each weekday edition (excluding NSW and national public holidays and 24 December to 2 January) delivered to the destinations you set up: email, Slack, Microsoft Teams or a webhook. The website stays free to read.

Price and billing. A$5 a month, GST inclusive, billed monthly in advance by Stripe until you cancel. You can cancel any time from your account; your subscription runs to the end of the period you've paid for. Prices may change with at least 30 days' notice by email.

Best effort, literally. There is no SLA. Editions are written by AI from public reporting and checked automatically before publication, but they may contain errors; check the linked original sources before relying on anything. Nothing here is financial, legal or investment advice.

Your destinations. You're responsible for the webhooks and addresses you configure. We'll pause a destination that keeps failing. Don't point deliveries at systems you're not authorised to use.

Refunds. Monthly charges are not normally refunded, but nothing here limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. If something has gone wrong, get in touch.

Changes. We may update these terms; material changes will be emailed to subscribers before they apply.
